I’m Dr. Nick Raines.

Brain surgeon and notorious over-thinker, I take the analytical approach with everything, until I can determine the best, carefully calculated plan of action. It’s no shock the producers of the popular reality series The Doctor Is In have decided to call me Dr. Neurotic.

Besides my more than full-time job as Chief of Neurosurgery at St. Luke’s Hospital, I’m a single dad and my number one priority is my daughter.

But life had plans to add another priority to my list.

Charlotte Hollis. Outspoken, impulsive, and beautiful, she’s everything I didn’t know I was craving.

She makes me wonder What if?

What if I don’t have to be alone for the rest of my life to give my little girl the father she deserves?

It’s a battle—my battle: Head vs. Heart.

The heroine of this novel just might threaten to slap you with a d*ck if you don’t like her…or if she doesn’t like you.

The author duo that is Max Monroe has done it again, by churning out yet another amazing book. This is the third and final book in the St. Luke’s Docuseries and each new book they release becomes my new favorite. This book features Nick (the formerly absent father of Winnie’s brilliant daughter Lexi). Winnie and her daughter Lexi, who is high functioning on the autism spectrum and brilliant with facts, were featured in the Billionaire Bad Boy series “Scoring the Billionaire” and “Scoring Her”. You get even more of Lexi in this book and honestly I think she steals every scene she’s in. Max Monroe really have a gift for character development and creating characters that you wish you could hang out with in real life.

Charlotte comes into the picture when she tries to headhunt Nick for a hospital in Los Angeles, though now that he’s started to repair his relationship with his daughter Lexi, he has no intention of leaving New York. And Charlotte is fine with that, as she lives in New York as well and finds herself interested in getting to know Nick better.

What follows is a beautiful, humorous and sweet relationship with some twists and turns you won’t see coming. What you need to know is that you will love this book and it will end in an HEA that leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy and wanting to wake your husband so you can do dirty things to him. What?

This was the perfect end to a series I absolutely adored. You know what that means, right? Time to read the entire series again! 5 stars! 5 stars all around!!!
