Giveaway Instructions Below Book Review!

When one Rulebook closes…

Thatch and Cassie have finally found their perfect balance of good and sweet, crazy and playful, and most importantly, hot and insatiable.

But what happens when they’re faced with a surprise neither of them plotted or schemed?

While Cassie seems to be taking everything in stride, Thatch can’t stop himself from worrying about every little thing revolving around the woman he loves.

How does a man handle that kind of anxiety?

Doing the only thing he can to ease his mind without pushing away the woman he loves, Thatch proves that once again, when it comes to him and Cass, you’ll never see what’s coming.

Another Playbook begins…

Wes Lancaster has always followed one guideline for play. He never gets involved with anyone working for his professional football team, the New York Mavericks.

It hasn’t been a hard rule to live by.

Until Winnie Winslow, the new take-no-sh*t team physician.

She’s beautiful, intelligent—and has no problem taking control of every situation.

She pisses him off. She turns him on.

As tension builds and desire heightens, Wes finds himself wondering how much longer he’ll be able to follow his gameplan.”

Disclaimer: Max & Monroe and Thatch advise that you use caution when insinuating the actions of their characters into your real life. You might find yourself the new owner of a truckload of hilarious kind of fun– or a restraining order. It’s one or the other, really.

About three things, I’m absolutely positive. First, Max Monroe is a duo of successful romantic comedy writers who keep their real identities secret. Second, this series is ridiculously funny and so much fun to read. Third, I am unconditionally and irrevocably in love with them.

Banking Her (book #2.5) is the 4th installment in their Bad Boy Billionaires series, which happens to be one of my FAVORITE romantic comedy series. This is one series you definitely need to read in order.

This novella picks up right where book #2 (Banking the Billionaire) ends and focuses mainly on Thatch and Cassie. It also starts a foundation of flirting for Wes and Winnie, who will be the main focus for book #3. (Scoring the Billionaire) I can’t wait for that one! We also have scenes with Georgia and Kline and even Phil the pig.

If you think Kline “Big Dick” Brooks from the first book (Tapping the Billionaire) is the ultimate book boyfriend, just wait until you read this book. Thatch gives him serious competition for that title. Oh Thatch!!!

Banking Her is full of comedy and craziness and some seriously steamy hot scenes. The writing duo of Max Monroe even broke the fourth wall in a hilarious manner. This book is also educational, as you will learn the meaning of “VPL”. VPL will henceforth be in my permanent vocabulary and I plan to use it as much as possible.

I hope Max Monroe never stops writing books together because they are pure comedy gold. I’d read a book about Leslie, Walter and Stan, or any character they choose to write about. They could even write it on a napkin, and I’d drop all responsibilities as a wife and mother to read it.

If you haven’t read this series, for Pete’s sake, get on that! You can thank me later. There are no cliffhangers and you can bet your britches each book ends on a happy note! This novella earns 5 out of 5 stars from me. This novella will be available on September 6th, but you can pre-order it now! (link below)

I was provided an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

  1. There’s always something interesting about everyone! Sounds like we were very similar. I was the same in college, but wasn’t teased about it too much (thankfully).

  2. Interesting, huh? I’m 43 years old, never been married, don’t have any kids, but am the best Auntie to my niece, 2 nephews and a furry chocolate nephew. I was in a coma for 5 days when I was 2 1/2 years old, due to Reyes Syndrome. I was the first kid to live at Yale New Haven Hospital from it. Because of the coma, I was taught to read earlier than most kids. From that moment on, I devoured books. They became my adventure…

  3. This is a hard one for me… there really isn’t anything interesting about me. I’m boring! lol Let’s see…. I enjoy traveling solo. Back when I was a teen (early 20’s) I used to get called a nun (only by my close friends and family who could get away with it,) because I didn’t drink, smoke, curse, nor was I promiscuous. Not much has changed! Ha! I love writing funny Christmas letters that I send out to everyone, but can’t write a descent book review to save my soul.

I’ve only read the first book in this series so far, but eventually I’ll get to them all. What I have read, I loved. 🙂

  4. Ever since you recommended Dark Lover, I am immediately onboard when you live and promote a new series. 💜

We LOVE comments!
